JP'S IN THE COMMUNITY

The Justice of the Peace may witness documents such as affidavits and statutory declarations.

The Justice of the Peace service is available Thursdays from 10:30am - 12:30pm.

The JP’s are located on the ground level, opposite the ramp and available to witness the following documents;
- Statutory declarations
- Affidavits
- Wills
- Power of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Directives
- Documents dealing with land titles
- Interstate Commonwealth and some international documents
- Documents giving consent to the marriage of a minor

Please note our JPs cannot sign Queensland Land Title Documents, Power of Attorney , Enduring Power of Attorney or confirm that photos are a true likeness. A Queensland JP can sign all of these documents.

Make sure you bring the following items with you when you visit the Justice of the Peace service;
- Drivers license or
- Medicare card or
- Passport or
- Proof of age card or
- Pension card

Please do not sign any documents before you visit a Justice of the Peace.
